I’m a guy and have to say there is not a lot of help on here in finding a good place. My hair is a little longer and wavy – and I didn’t want a buzz cut. Walked in on a Sunday and got a haircut with Tami. (who is pretty new there) I have to say that this is probably the best haircut of my life. She was great – haircut was $45. Worth it.

I moved to this area earlier this year and tried another salon, but I finally found a salon and stylist I love. The salon itself had a nice decor and an upstairs area. Tammy was my stylist and she was great and listened to my needs. I showed her photos and she gave me honest feedback on what I could expect with my type of hair. The entire cut and style took about an hour and they offered me wine or tea which was a nice touch. The front desk was very nice, although a bit confused. I checked in early- and they told me to put on a smock and I just sat there for a few minutes. Finally someone noticed and took me upstairs to my stylist. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly.
I was happy with my cut and Tammy took time to cut and style my bangs perfectly. I’ve had my bangs cut a few times by other stylists and Tammy is by far, my favorite. She swept them to the side and even a few days later, they still appeared swept the way I wanted them too with the right amount of weight and fringe to them. As a first time customer, I also got 20% off the price. Tammy only took cash or check.

TAMI @ Plum is AMAZING. I followed her to Plum simply because I didn’t trust anyone else with my hair. She’s been cutting it for the past year now and knows exactly how to whip it back in to shape every time! Also, she has the best-smelling shampoo and personality! Always makes me laugh and is super down to earth.
She now cuts my boyfriends hair as well and he couldn’t be happier. She was able to fix it after a “barber” made him look like a 13 yr old school boy with a bowl cut. Yea, it was that bad.
He’s got his surfer hair back and I have my long locks layered perfectly.
We highly recommend Tami!!

just bought the Groupon yesterday to try out this salon. Due to all the amazing reviews for Paul and Lang, I wanted to see if I could get an appt with them. Unfortunately, my only availability is on the weekends and the receptionist told me that Paul doesn’t accept groupon on that day. I went ahead and bought the groupon anyway and scheduled it with Tami.
At first I was pretty nervous trying out another new salon and hair stylist. But I am so glad I went on a Sunday since I didn’t have to worry about the meters. Tami was really nice and patient. I was appreciative that she was willing to fit in my appt so last min. She listened to what I wanted and reassured me of what she thought would work. Lately I have been really indecisive about my hair, so her friendliness really helped me.
I also didn’t know that there was an upstairs part of the salon, which was where I got the service done. Although there were some minor construction going on, I felt really comfortable and I liked the privacy and decor. I think Tami was wonderful and would go back when I need another cut/ color. =)

i just got done with my appointment with Tami. WOW. I am so pleased!
I was super indecisive with how I wanted to look, but since I am in the military part time, I wanted something that would be in regs. I gave her my thoughts, but added the ‘make me look pretty’ and boy did she work it.
The music was mellow, it was clean, and it smelled like fresh air rather than dye or chemical.
My appointment took two hours but she was nothing but awesome, she even printed out the forms for me to donate my hair to locks of love. I thought that was super. She also gave me soda and offered to run my change to the meter for me. I will definitely be back to see her, as well as Plum Studios.
