With 12 years of experience, Frank comes to Plum Studios from the East Bay. He is “a natural” with perfecting short to long hair cutting and styling. He will not only tell you what product to use, he will show you how to use the product to get your hair to simply style into place.
Frank has extensive training in LA with Hair Extensions. He offers complimentary consultations and can let you know what your options, the maintenance and how to keep your hair looking it best day to day.

When it comes to haircuts, I go to the cheap salons. Of course, what you pay is what you get. At first, I was okay with my cuts. However, with my last cheap haircut, I was miserable because the lady didn’t cut my hair right!
I’ve known Frank for almost a year and when I talk to him about hair, he is very passionate and confident about it. So, when he told me he got the position at Ulta, I was excited and decided to give him a try. Of course, I was a bit hesitate because of the price. But, I told myself that Frank will take care of me. And…he did!
Frank only had to look at the picture I showed him once and he immediately knew what to do! Not only did he ask me the usual questions (how short to cut and what side I part my bangs), but he also gave me a lot of information on hair products, hairstyling, and what good hairdryers and flat irons really do! I have a $10 hairdryer and no flat iron.
As for my new haircut…I love it! I can’t stop looking at it…and touching it…LOL! This is the first time my hair has been really straight! My hair
feels smooth and looks shiny, too!
I definitely recommend Frank to cut your hair! The price is a bit high (for me…lol), but it was worth every penny! Thanks Frank!

I had a hair disaster awhile back. Orange hair from a cheap salon. My friend tried to fix it but it still needed more help. I had to take portraits the next day and I was so upset. I had heard about Plum Studios Salon and so as a last try I called and asked who was available to do color that evening. I took a big chance. I was referred to Frank. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. When I went to my appointment Frank was confident, friendly and turned what I thought was unfixable into an easy task. Frank did a great highlight and I really liked how he styled my hair. He also had a lot of great hair related advice. I’m glad I found someone I can trust to cut and color my hair.

Just went to Frank on a whim since it was a Sunday and I needed my highlights done ASAP. I have a hectic work schedule so I called that morning and got an appt. a few hours later.
Absolutely love my blonde highlights
Frank was super cute and genuine to talk to. I love my hair now 2 weeks later! He styled my hair SO great which stayed perfect for 2 days! Woohoo & complimentary vino!
Frank is GREAT and I have a hard time trusting stylists with my blonde hair! Will definitely return. I just may have found my new stylist. Very good prices too. THANKS!

I recently came to Plum Studios Salon to get highlights… And I have to say I had an amazing experience and my highlights came out amazing thanks to Frank!!! Frank offers the best service by making sure that I felt comfortable and satisfied. I was a bit nervous about getting highlight given that I had never done anything to my hair before but Frank was extremely helpful in finding the best color for me and the end result was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to get my hair done by Frank!!!
