I went here after finding this place on Yelp. I called last minute, and they were able to squeeze me in. My stylist was Eddie, and he asked a lot of questions about what I wanted. Then we was very thorough in describing exactly what was he doing most of the way….and I loved my resulting haircut.

The salon is pretty chill and laidback. Worth going to. It’s right across the street from the Burlingame Library.

5 stars because of Eddie. He is a hair styling god…I don’t go to him anymore cuz I’m a starving student but ooo boy does he cut some good hair! If you want something different, trust him, he knows what works with your face. He’s also pretty good at listening to what you want, but he loves funky short hair. I used to go to him at L and he did some great work, long first and then even better when I went short. He even gave me green highlights! he’s great, super nice and funny too. highly recommend him!

I’ve been to Neo Salon twice now, the first for a “rescue” haircut after someone else gave me a shaggy mess of a cut, the second for a cut and highlight. Eddie is a masterful cut and color guy, with terrific instincts about what will look good (and what won’t). He’s great at listening to what I want, but isn’t afraid to give me emphatic advice if I have an idea that’s just completely wrong for my face.

The cut I got yesterday makes me look about 5 years younger (and I have, unfortunately, hit the age where that’s a good thing), and the color is so natural that I have to look to see where he highlighted. To me, it just looks like my hair has a wonderful golden, caramel-y glow to it. I’m sure Eddie can do chunky highlights too, but I prefer natural-looking ones, and he delivered perfectly. He also put them in zigzag so they would grow out gracefully. Eddie’s booking up earlier and earlier these days–be prepared to book out several weeks unless you’re really flexible in your availability.

Had a haircut with Eddie. Nice guy. INCREDIBLY METICULOUS. The haircut was great, very solid, but I didn’t totally fall in love with it. I went in and basically told him to do anything, and I thought the cut could have been a little more inspired. It felt a bit more like a trim than a do. That said, it grew out well and if I ever know what exactly I want, I’d go back.

Eddie has been my cutting my hair for over 5 years now – I follow him where ever he goes. He better never move out of state:) I have long hair – I mean past the middle of my back and it took me a long time to find someone I trust with my locks because I cannot stand it when you tell someone to cut an inch and they cut 3 or more inches off your hair. He listens to you and gives you what you ask for. See ya soon Eddie
